I think we all go through times when there is a chemical imbalance in our brain,,,, and i don't mean alcohol,,,, and have a period of temporary insanity and don't recognize it. Why, ? because if we were sane we would recognize it and do something about it.
I think I might join Taa if I can get some of the same med's he has.

Not a good idea to promote this.
Cannabis is very dangerous to anyone with any form of cardiovascular issues which means probably a very high percentage of older people. Certainly the members of this forum who seem prone to heated outbursts at times.
A cup of Yorkshire tea and a few episodes of the Walking Dead do it for me nowadays.

There was a recent thread about a long term expat who passed away. I wondered if it was him, he urged people to seek treatment and to not postpone health problems. He sounded like a very nice guy when I read his Facebook post and comments made by many mutual friends.
I will drink for you tonight, taa. Thank you for spending time with us wherever you now are.

i 100% disagree and if u read up on it u would see the benefits of cannabis
Rick's oil have helped many many people
cup of tea and watching mind numbing tv wont kill the pain
He was joe, a long term expat known to some of us here, but not a poster...he urged people to seek treatment and to not postpone health problems
died last week in Oregon of cancer and yes, he used oils for the pain.

It is a medical FACT that cannabis is not good for anyone with cardiovascular issues. I know because I have heart issues and cancer and both my GP and the consultant surgeon strongly advised me not to use cannabis. I would listen to them rather than a dealer.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 5:54 pm and you know this how? By reading online?

Hey, don't let that stop you, knock yourself out and indulge in it. If you suffer from cardiovascular problems then you are only killing yourself.

and on the other side;
Marijuana and heart health: What you need to know
Access to marijuana is growing, but its risks and benefits have not been carefully studied.
"As a result, everything we're told about what marijuana does or doesn't do should be viewed with a certain amount of caution. This holds equally true for the risks as well as the benefits," says Dr. Kenneth Mukamal, associate professor of medicine at Harvard-affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
TO each their own

Richard, you are of course entitled to do to yourself whatever you like and I would defend that right. However others should know all of the facts before trying marijuana in an attempt to reduce pain. They could end up in more pain than when they started.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 7:41 pm TO each their own

Pain is a fact of life in the majority of us. Not a day goes by in which I am pain free.I have learned to accept pain and ignore it. Pain is there for a reason. To mask it could well cause greater injury. It's the same as taking pain killers. All they do is mask the symptoms and not address the problems.
Too much reliance on drugs and pain killers simply to hide an issue. The pain is telling you something is wrong and the cause, not the symptoms should be treated. A terminal disease may be a reason to try marijuana if all else fails but not as a general pain killer. That is the quick road to drug addiction.

Exactly;... A terminal disease may be a reason to try marijuana if all else fails but not as a general pain killer.
and this is what the discussion is about, not using pain pills, using oil for the pain because you have an incurable disease in the final stages.
BTW when ur in pain and you know its only a matter of time, all you want do is mask the pain. Even my mother was on oral morphine before she passed...
We are talking abut cannabis, NOT Oxycontin or Dilaudid....That is the quick road to drug addiction.
PLUS; if ur jn the final stages of cancer ( or any disease) not much chance of addiction.
TOG ; PLUS PLUS
if u had read thru the entire thread you will notice we are talking about cancer and Taa, hence my suggestion.
nobody mentioned heart disease and cannabis till you did which really had nothing to do with my suggestion on this thread.

Don't get your knickers in a twist. You do not decide what any discussion is about, threads take their own course.I also have cancer and a heart condition as well. I know that as time progresses my cancer will develop into stage 3 and 4 move into the lymph nodes and then that's it. However, I will not increase the chance of heart failure simply to alleviate pain. Pain can and is lived with.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 9:21 pmExactly;... You should have made it quiet clear that you were only referring to terminal cancer cases which you did not. All you did was to point people to a website that teaches you how to make cannabis derived products.
Any thread can and will deviate slightly from the original post and members should be more explicit (or careful) when offering links to ways of making illegal substances.
