Flying into Cambodia from Thailand for visa run with UK passport

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Any ideas on what to title these new books? Could be a money making opportunity. The cleverest titles are already taken. Mr Litten's books, first editions are collectors items and sell for many hundreds of dollars. Signed copies sell for thousands. And he gets paid more for speaking engagements than Barak Obama.

I hate to post something actually on topic but

Thanks Clemen for bringing it back on topic. They are effectively banning foreigners in a clever way. No insurance policy will cover this!

Not just foreigners, Thais too. They're requiring them to have a "fit to fly" approval from a doctor, then get permission from a Thai embassy, consulate, wherever

in effect he is closing the country down;
The government will extend the requirement of medical certificates and health insurance from Sunday to cover all visitors to the country regardless of nationalities to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
Travellers to Thailand have to now show authorities a health certificate, issued no more than 72 hours before travelling, confirming that they have been tested and are free from the virus. They must also present an insurance policy showing minimum coverage for coronavirus of not less than US$100,000.

Is there any way to check that Cambodia is still open to foreign arrivals at Phnom Penh Airport?

Airasia's last plane to Thailand is at 10 tonight. I know because my friend is racing to the airport to try and get on it.
