Yep.PSD-Kiwi wrote:Exactly what I do too, plus I nearly always get a row of seats to myself at the rear of the plane. I used to never check-in online before flights, but now I do it every time. I can't believe what a huge difference it makes for the whole trip.
First, if you don't have checked-in baggage, it's usually straight to the gates. Even if you have baggage, they might have a drop-off booth, and even if not, the process is quicker or you can be cheeky and approach the first class booth and say you just need to drop off.
Second, you get the chance to change seats again, and now you can see more accurately where it's empty. And like you said, it's generally towards the back, quite often getting an entire row to yourself. Feels like first class on a long flight.
Third, I've randomly gotten a coupon for duty free purchases which come in handy. Anything helps, LoL.
Fourth, basically means you don't need to worry about arriving earlier, as you've already done most of the shit you gotta do before boarding.
Maybe one day I'll fly business class like Hanno.

Re: Flying to and from Cambodia
I flew Malaysia last year back to Blighty and got a row to myself, was surprised at how many people were on it, given their unlucky streak. And surprised at how shit the food and service was for an airline going down the pan. Lucky to get even one drink
