So I'm finally here in the "Kingdom Of Wonder" (Drink Spiked and Robbed Already)

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I do believe the part about the kid getting lippy, lil shits some of those kids...but fear not, his threats are empty.
Believe as you wish but I can assure you I only had 2 beer, the first one while I was sitting down just relaxing and the second one with my meal which is when that criminal approached me as I was trying to eat my food in peace. I'm not much of a drinker so getting hammered is not in my nature and I sure as hell know better than to get drunk in unfamiliar and unsafe surroundings i'm smart enough to keep my wits about me when I'm in a strange place. But believe if you wish I'm in no position to change your mind and not to be rude but nor do I care to.

Anaesthetic.

But don’t worry, at least you know their local.
Barbituates + alcohol can = the big dirt nap. That's why i'm worried about them. Benzos like Xanax, Klonopin, or Valium probably won't kill you, but you'll be tired & logy the next day. Roofies are just another benzo, but 10X stronger. GHB can kill you, but if it doesn't you'll feel great when you wake up. A big NIH study showed that only about 10% of those admitted to hospitals for ingesting a spiked drink had any such drugs in their system though.

Paid my 400 baht for4 days for the car, paid an extra 100 baht so he would lift the gate to let me in.
drove about 2 kms and hit a pot hole an blew my tire..
Got to shv, driving down the road, cops jumped out an stopped me, "Cant drive thai car here"
$10 fine
Brought a new tire, Couldn't balance it as they didn't have the machine
Couldn't sleep at night , tooth hurt so went to dentist and had 2 teeth pulled $100
In Thailand $28 each, Got some nice pain killers thou

SHV is a dirty shit place to be, traffic is a nightmare, building everywhere, Otres 2 was nice place for sunset and a joint

Hell they only charged me $25 for an extraction at Roomchang in Phnom Penh, however the replacement implant was about $1400 :D

The trouble with the idea of spiking drinks is that there's nothing remotely tasteless about the chemicals which would have the desired effect. The idea that it would be barbiturates is laughable (do you know how much they go for on the darknet? More than they made in the robbery that's for certain). Ketamine, ghb, valium (and its' ilk), MDMA, etc. all have incredibly perceptible tastes when a drink is spiked. You might, at a real stretch, get away with that in shots or cocktails (though quantity would become an issue there) but it would be impossible in a beer.

When the UK police investigated reports of drink spiking - they concluded that it was always alcohol not a drug at fault for the victim's state.

So while I'm not dismissing the OP's claims... I am finding them difficult to believe because they would literally be difficult to swallow.

You chose a bad time for Sihanoukville.

_Incidentally, i was considering Phuket in a few days time. Hows the weather there? Has the haze gone?

Cheers. 8-)

The Chinese millions are on their way. There's no issue in expansion so it could potentially offer something for everyone. I'm sure we can get some new bin lorries in the deal.
