FIFA Ticker at the top... keep it or chuck it?
Re: FIFA Ticker at the top... keep it or chuck it?
I used Opera for many years and it WAS easily the best browser out there. Unfortunately they have largely given up Development by dropping their Presto Engine and becoming a Chrome wannabe. Too bad they stripped out all their features and have been so slow to add them back in.ali baba wrote:I'm using Opera.StroppyChops wrote:Depends on the browser one uses.
For Internet Explorer, one has a good hard look at oneself.
For now Firefox is the only good choice if you want to customize your experience and have at least some semblance of privacy management.
The Chinese browser Maxthon is also an excellent feature rich browser but with one MAJOR Caveat -- you cannot delete cookies in it. Once you accept a cookie it is there to stay. Major privacy concerns and a dealer breaker for me. Too bad otherwise I would have considered it a replacement for Opera after Opera crossed over to the dark-side.

Noticed him posting on the other forum a day or two ago. Maybe got his feelings hurt over here. Too bad, I found him an interesting (if somewhat confrontational) poster.StroppyChops wrote:You sick bastard. Hey, speaking of which, has anyone seen/heard from dagenham? I'm genuinely concerned for him. Is anyone able to check on him in person?

Stroppy, why wouldn't he be? Did I (obviously) miss something?
Also, he's currently online on the other forum, if that can abate your concerns.

Thanks Joon. He was a chronic poster here (as bad as FC and myself) and suddenly went silent when his mental health was questioned. RD and Jaap had already advised he is active elsewhere.Joon wrote:Stroppy, why wouldn't he be? Did I (obviously) miss something?

Now that the US is eliminated from the competition, no one, I repeat NO ONE gives a rat's ass about the World Cup so feel free to remove that awful ticker box immediately.
