Feud Between Expats in Kampot; Peter Miller and Stephane Devas Fight Over Property Damage at Champa Lodge

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

This is a hard-hitting story which made the Khmer news yesterday of the everyday problems faced by foreigners living in Kampot. Seemed a shame not to post their photos so here they are:
It appears that the man shown here in the pink circle - Peter Miller from Denmark - has painted the sign of Champa Lodge (a guest house) in white. Unfortunately we do not have the back story as to why he did such a thing, so we will probably have to make one up - which is why this event is under Chatter and not News.

The man with the cap on is the owner of Champa Lodge, Stephane Devas, from Belgium.

This lady is either miming a tree or telling the Danish man to sod off.

Mr Devas lays a complaint against Mr Miller with the police who offer free water all round and agree to study the problem.

Mr Devas drives away on his scooter.

That Peter Miller guy has definitely got some screws loose, complete nut job actually! The crazy looking chick with the blonde hair is his gf, complete nut job also...both are best avoided.

Looks like she's got a handle and a spout. Must be a little tea pot.
