Feisty Old Lady Asks Tuktuk Driver $5000 Compensation

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: A crowd gathered to watch a scene on Sihanouk Boulevard at the corner of Trasak Paem Market in Chaktomuk Sangkat, Khan Daun Penh, as an unidentified elderly woman gave an aggressive tuktuk driver a good telling off, and demanded that he pay her $5000 after he hit her scooter and lightly injured her in the accident.

The tuktuk driver then spent a long time begging and apologizing to the woman, saying he would pay for medical treatment, but that he did not hurt her much and he is a poor man.

Police came to the scene, along with local journalists, to sort out the dispute. In the end, they decided that the driver could not pay $5000. The journalists reported the incident as local news anyway, then everyone went home.

A very narrow view of the outcome,,,,, On the chopping block ???? Split down the middle ???? You left out the third party involved, so she should have asked for $10,000
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
