Expat Talks About How Adjusting to Life in Phnom Penh Has Been Hard for Her (Travel Lush)
Re: Expat Talks About How Adjusting to Life in Phnom Penh Has Been Hard for Her (Travel Lush)
Oh what a special little snowflake she is.... she's everything mommy and daddy said she would grow up to be.
Only problem with snowflakes is in a snow(blog)storm they all look the fucking same!

She's only been living in Cambodia since August and received a "care package" in September, which is only a month later.
I wonder if she gets one every month?
"In August 2015 we left Jakarta and moved to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Aaron still works as a university professor. As for me, I’m trying my hardest to navigate life as a freelance writer.
As of now we’re still settling into our new hometown. But I can already tell you that this year is going to be another wild ride. Living abroad is still new to me. After all, Phnom Penh is a far cry from both California and Jakarta. I love living in Southeast Asia but I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that it also comes with its challenges! And yes, I do rant about it from time to time."

I picture her just stepping out of a Normal Rockwell painting of family bliss all rosy-cheeked, a smile as wide as the Grand Canyon and cup of coffee in her hand for her adorable husband going off to work.

That said: the new generation thinks that their every bowel movement is of global interest. Young people nowadays blablabla... It's boring, self-indulgent, but hardly feminist.
