No offense taken, of course! I'm pretty confident that I copied ZERO content from over there, it was just a link that was posted to a YouTube channel related to Cambodia that was posted on k440. Surely this isn't the first time you've noticed the 2 biggest Cambodian forums discussing the same topic from external sources that neither forum have any "exclusive rights" to?

If this is their video or something a poster there produced and I missed that, I'll kindly delete it. Again, I am under the impression that this video was not related to anyone over there and it was just a random link that was posted. And the prankster just happens to be my friend, LoL.

If you really want to know, it's kind of funny... A member from over there sent me the video link asking if I knew this "Nick," to which I replied that I didn't.

Then, I watched a few minutes of it, and realized I know EXACTLY who he is!

Haha, I just think it's hilarious that the YouTube host would take him serious! I mean, he literally talks about every cliche under the sun.

Anyone who says they bought their hooker girlfriend a cow and is saving up for a water buffalo is, in my humble opinion, taking the piss! He even says that Cambodia is such a conservative country that he and EVERYONE he knows can only date prostitutes, LoL.

I've known him for at least 2 years, so it's not like he's fresh off the boat. So of course he knows people who aren't dating prostitutes, duuuuuuh. Maybe there's some truth spun into it, but I've only listened to the first 5 minutes and is so clearly a total piss take!

If I get some free time, I'll listen to the whole 45 mins just to see how far he tries to take it.

I'm watching this video now for the 2nd time today. I find it hilarious in many ways. It seems to me to be an accumulation of all the SEA stories you have ever heard. I have many more I could add though. In fact I think I'll start a thread.

PLUS have none of you ever been tricked by an Asian women on your travels? I know that's harder for the younger guys to admit to, but I've seen plenty of them in relationships with hookers as well as plenty of the middle aged.

Where do you think he got the stories from in the first place?

The amount of true stories I've heard here. A lot of those thoughts and feelings are mixed into his dialogue too. Brilliant. The guys facial expressions just add to it even more.

First time I've ever heard the cow being 15 years old though. That's one old cow.

The other thing I love about this video is it seems to have to ability for almost all male expat posters in relationships out here to clench their arseholes and declare a united cry of NOT ME, NEVER!

Which actually just has the effect of making me wonder about them ...

There's nothing wrong or competitive about K440 and CEO discussing the same topics of interest.
But with regards to this particular one, the interest for me is to determine whether the call was genuine or a pisstake.
3 posters on K440 claim they know Nick and that he's real idiot. And here GenMack says it's his prankster friend of 2 years. If Nick is genuine and your friend, GenMack, he's perceiving you as a whoremonger.

GenMack is not a whoremonger. And I know this as a fact because I'm one....and he never attends the mandatory monthly meetings.

I hate to say it but the person speaking is being absolutely genuine; if you listen to this it's clear that he's not pausing to think or answering immediately off the cuff (the two clear signs of lying in speech) - it's natural speech.

There's a moment of genuine discomfort when the guy is confronted about the price of prostitution.

He's also an absolute fucking ass. He is the epitome of self-centered stupidity. And sadly, he's incredibly representative of many of the expatriates in Cambodia.
