Entry Restrictions (clarification)

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

This reads to me if you are coming from these places not necessarily a passport holder of these nations. Im American but will be coming from Afghanistan. Have read on the forum here someone said they are blocking passport holders from these places. Perhaps the poster didn’t read the restriction correctly? What do you all think? Will I be able to get in?
Same problem here, I'm American but have been in Thailand for over a year. Wonder if they would be willing to take the time to look at the stamps?

I want to travel to Phnom Penh on 1st July from UK. UK government website says this is ok so long as you submit to self isolation rules however I just called the Cambodian Embassy and they said no visas are being issued unless it’s for business. This doesn’t align with what other places are saying. Does anyone have any info?

Those restrictions were lifted on 20th May...

Many more things to consider now though, your biggest hurdle will be getting a Visa in advance from the Cambodian Ebbassy in Thailand, and then getting a flight out of Thailand, and those are just for for starters. Read more here...

The only Visas currently being issued by Cambodian Embassies are the A (Diplomatic), B (Official), C (Courtesy), K (Special) and E (Ordinary - also referred to as "Business") Visas.

All of these Visa types require Justification and necessary supporting documentation.

No T-type (Tourist) Visas are being issued, no e-Visas (electronic online tourist visa), no Visas on Arrival and no Visa exempt entry (ASEAN passport holders).

Thank you for the notice and effort. As it stands though, Thailand would not let me back in once I went to Cambodia.

Are Cambodians allowed to fly in? Do they have to self quarantine for 14 days if they do. Or are they taken to a hotel and charged?

Yes Cambodians are allowed to fly in, they are exempt from the requirement to have a negative COVID-19 test result prior to travelling, exempt from.the insurance requirement and exempt from the $3000 deposit.

They undergo the same routine on arrival, test, quarantine facility (not hotel like foreigners) to await test results, if no positive tests they are free to go home and self-isolate for 14 days...if anyone tests positive then they are placed in a Government quarantine facility for 14 days. At Governments expense. If they choose the hotel to spend quarantine then they must pay for it.
