English Teacher GARY SMITH seems to be Homeless now with a Broken Leg in Phnom Penh

yeah the whole thing is a bit retarded; if he would have let somebody set his shin when it happened he'd likely be back walking again by now

I'd guess mental illness, alcoholism with possibly a side order of amphetamine use could be in play here, along with his being enabled by those who support him as result of his situation

Does anyone know a Gary Smith, from the UK? Saw him yesterday and tried to see what help he needs. Apparently he's been in Cambodia working as a teacher for 5 years. Gary is beyond help. A useless scouser.

A few years ago I got him a job interview. He turned up pissed out his box at 2 in the afternoon. Sad to see him like this, but he's been on this path for a long time.

He was on fb today posting weird shit and saying he had been kicked out of his place.

One of his Facebook posts shows the letter from his landlord explaining why he was kicked out of his apartment a few weeks ago, basically for being a complete drunken arsehole. I may be wrong, but I suspect the main reason he won't check into a hospital and get his leg seen to might possibly be that he knows that will mean not being able to drink alcohol for a few days.
