ELT or some other school

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Yes. My friend is Cambodian. We studied together.

Hahaha, have you been sucking dwarf-dick?

I know a place that sells knee-protectors, I got some for biking, but they'll help your problem too.

Why not just get her a job in a bar. Most bar girls pick up English language skills pretty quickly.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

They pick up other things as well, unfortunately.

Yes, bargirls do pick up English quickly and well. Many are far brighter more resilient and more culturally agile than the expats here. The overwhelming number of them are far more careful about their health - genital, mental and otherwise. There is no need to take cheap shots at them.

Wooooosh!

Hahahahahaha, sensitive lawyers for bargirls completely missed the point.

Culturally-agile? Nice in-vogue PC terminology, bro!But I think you cross-referenced from your Karma Sutra book.

Yes, there are some cool, bright, resilinet bargirls, nobody ever claimed otherwise, but even you can't deny that STDs are an occupational health hazard. Can you? Seriously?

Wait, let me guess, you sent your partner to work in a bar to learn English, right? Good choice! You must be a real keeper. :?

"Yes, there are some cool, bright, resilient bargirls, nobody ever claimed otherwise, but even you can't deny that STDs are an occupational health hazard. Can you? Seriously?"

For one thing, many bargirls do not go with customers. They work only has hostesses for a small monthly salary and, mainly, for lady drinks.

Of those who do, the STD chance is about equal to that experienced by their expat horizontal associates which chance is very, very low among girls and customers in expat oriented bars in PP. The girls use condoms and are encouraged to go for very very low cost health checks at an NGO organised for the purpose.

While you're at it, compare the number of girls who learn fairly fluent English to the number of expats who have even slight fluency in Khmer. And then think about how many expats would be comfortable having dinner in a middle class Khmer household versus a Khmer bargirl in a similar middle class barang setting.

One of the thing that bargirls often say about the upside of working in barang-oriented bars as opposed to Khmer karaoke clubs where the money might be better is that barang customers do not look down on them.

So let us here hold ourselves to at least that middling standard by eschewing gratuitous snark when talking about them here.
