Dumb shit expats have said

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

And honestly how many times have you got into a tuktuk, the driver says he knows where he’s going and then goes in the wrong direction. I find that frustrating.
LOL. They are just saying "yes" (as you do in Cambodia when you don't have a clue). You should be used to this.

Seriously, PP attracts people from all over Cambodia looking for menial jobs (much like other capital cities in the world). Many of the tuktuk drivers, who have come freshly from elsewhere in Cambodia , (ie. the boonies), do not know Phnom Penh outside of where they live/work, they do not know how to read a map, and many of them do not know how to read, fullstop.

Even in Kampot (tinytown), I've had a tuktuk driver who didn't know where to go or how to read his GPS. These things happen. It's a learning experience for him and for me. (I also have a terrible sense of direction. :unknown: )

Bill Gates, the Jews and a bunch of Satan worshipping cannibalistic pedophiles created COVID.

Vaccines have chips in them so that Bill Gates can control you.

COVID is controlled by 5g and they can program it to become any type of virus in the body.

They killed all the smart ones that's why the country is fucked.

Start by learning the difference between '' up '' and '' down ''. That's all you need to know in Cambodia. But you knew that already.

Many are true to their word, and don't go home, but die here.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

I understand all of your points, that's why I use an app, so I don't have to worry about it

I always use Passap in Siem Reap and I am often surprised by drivers who can't read the map on their phones so I end up giving directions anyway. Not a problem, I used to have to do the same back in NZ if my ex-wife was doing the driving so its not just a local issue.

The Kum-ayes just want your money (meanwhile 2.5 million worth of cars drives past nonchalantly).
Silence, exile, and cunning.
