Drunk cop in Lexus kills in Kampot

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Drunk cop in Lexus kills in Kampot

Post by frank lee bent »

Stan K reports that a drunk policeman in a Lexus plowed into a motodop who was parked in Kampot Saturday night.
The motodop died from his injuries several hours later.
There were other injuries, also several motos destroyed and Stan's Tico smashed beyond repair.
The cop is obviously known, but has not been named.

When I was a child of age 8-13 our roll models were the policeman, the fireman & maybe a local politician. They would come to our school & give a talk about their roll as a civic model.
Today not so much. That's for any country. Not singling out the KOW. In retrospect it was all just bullshit. We were just a bunch of dumb naive kids.

I'm pretty sure a local politician would still go to any school. Kids are sooo innocent, they have never heard about lying and cheating and they are the only ones that would believe everything they are told.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
