It's just kids trying to be cool. It's a seasoned fact too that young women somehow find men with dreads and crappy hippy clothes irresistible 😉

These are followers of the "banana pancake hippy trail"., often comprising of travelling to Ko phan gan, pai, vang Vieng, don det, and eating baguettes....

It's perfectly fine to ignore those you feel uncomfortable with and quite another to paint them as the great unwashed simply because of your discomfort. Live and let live. Cambodia suffers from far greater social afflictions.
