This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. I don't know the speed, but I'm really happy with Ezecom. I tried three of the other providers in town and they were all crap. I went a week without internet with Y5net because it was a holiday and all the staff took off. It was also difficult to find someone in the office who could take payment. I went to the Opennet office and they were also close for holidays. Not had that problem with Ezecom. Its more expensive, but you get what you pay for. If I have a problem they are right on it.

thank for the info...
have you fiber optic? check the Ezecom website, i can't understand it very well, because the option that they do is:
1 mbps
2 mbps
3 mbps
4 mbps
5 mbps
isn't very slow?
the best give only 5mbps for 200$ month?

If you want to actually use your internet for something without getting old and dying waiting then a minimum of 5Mbps, maybe. That's $200 a month with Ezecom, which is ridiculous, whatever the service.
Opennet fibre is line speed in Cambodia/Vietnam, where it breaks out. It's about $40 a month for 10Mbps. Metfone is similarly priced for fibre.

I live close to downtown and use Metphone.

Using it for 18 months, only time it has been down is when the whole town has a blackout which has not been too often, as for speed I dont know the mbts whatever, all I can say it that it works fine for both my work and general browsing. I am paying for a residential connection so pretty good value for money.

I have the 2mbps from Ezecom. I watch live streaming American football, use Skype, download movies, etc with no problem. The other three I tried were sh*t and wouldn't let me do that, plus when I had a problem they acted like I caused it and were slow to come fix it or in the case of Y5net on a 5 day holiday and closed. (yes, Y5net was fiber) Y5net was also very shitty and nasty when I canceled their service. Metphone was the first I had and the worst for speed.
