down on his luck, needs teaching work.

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

How do they feel about teachers who suffer from excessive flatulence? That's a deal breaker in some schools.

Anyone suggest a school he can try that aint too fussy and wont ask him any questions?

What questions do you not want them to ask during his interview?

1. "Are you a native English speaker?"
2. "Have you ever taught before?"
3. "Why aren't you wearing any shoes?"
4. " There appears to be a 20 year gap in your CV, can you elaborate ? "
5. " Was a vest normal attire in your last school ? "
6. " Will you be bringing the bottle to classes if we offer you the position ? "
7. Are those needle marks on your arm from an insulin pen?
8. We understand that you're very committed to helping the environment, but can you commit to taking at least one shower per week?

9. Do you promise not to buy your meth from that kid in 4th grade?
10. Can you, somehow, limit the number of little girls that sit on your lap? :stir:

Ouch. That's harsh. Image

C'mon LJ. You of all people should know better. The guy asks for recommendations for a guy to teach who has no degree or discernable qualifications (he did mention a TEFL or something). Wants a job where they ask no questions during the interview... A few options were then given, including a few names even I've heard before: ELT, Beltei and so on. Can't we make a bit of fun? I don't see why we should only be allowed to make fun of Sihanoukville expats, that's hardly fair.
