Dont be a slave

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Cambodia isn't for everyone, it works for some and not others. If it doesn't groove for you maybe Thailand will instead? Most people look for the good in a country, then leave when they've had enough.

Seriously, no point bitching cos you spent all your money and had to go begging some other Westerner who has 'made it', unlike you.

Just get over it! It takes determination and capital investment to get a business running in Cambodia, and you probably have little understanding about everything that is involved and the risks of losing everything to locals and corrupt banks.

Stop moaning, and move on! :)

I used to work in one of Cambodia most popular expat bars and the pay was great plus the benefits of free motorbike , food, booze were great I never bitched about that but I do get upset when some stingy boss wont give his staff the tips at the end of a 10 hour bartending shift .

to each his own but I considered 500 USD a month plus access to free booze and being in the position to meet a different bird every night without paying a dime is priceless

Move to the US. You can make $15/hour working at McDonald's. No skills or experience required.
