Don't Piss on the Electric Fence OR This Pole On Street 51 and 310 (Unless You Want To Die)

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Don't Piss on the Electric Fence OR This Pole On Street 51 and 310 (Unless You Want To Die)

Post by General Mackevili »

Apparently a car crashed into this pole last month causing a short (or "ground"? I don't know what the correct term is, I'm not a fucking electrician), and as of July 23 it's still be electrocuting people, knocking them unconscious, who happen to touch it.

According to a Facebook post, they talked to authorities and the EDC, but they're not sure if it's been fixed.

Locals have been kind enough to tape it off and put up a warning sign.

Don't piss on it.

When the US "Survivor" show taped its second season (in Australia), host Jeff Probst accidentally pissed on an electric fence. He lived to tell the story. I bet it was a rude shock though.

Luckily pissing in public is not done by the majority of people, who have been brought up with manners
