US dollar bills in Cambodia

I hate US dollar bills because you hear so often now of people being unaware they are holding forged notes.
If I want to buy a decent amount here in Thailand to bring with me to Cambodia which sized notes are less likely to be forgeries?

1: I would be more worried about buying counterfeit dollars in Thailand.
2: You would easily find a much better exchange rate in Cambodia than in Thailand for any major currency.

Buy from a Official currency exchange in Thailand for the best rates, ( banks rates are less)
buy new bills and u will have ZERO problem

I have NEVER received a fake note in Thailand OR Cambodia, ONLY in HK and Amsterdam.

A dude here in Saudi was telling me he got a bunch of notes from a bank in South Korea before he went back to Ireland.

Some were fake. Took him forever to get rid of them.

Do those "counterfeit" pens still work on newer bills? If so, get one to check the bills you get.

I would say that $1 bills are least likely to be forged. I suggest you bring suitcases full of them when you travel to Cambodia.

Google Super Rich in BKK. If you don't have a lot of cake, don't worry about it. What you should worry about is the bill itself. They are examined 10X more than in the W & you need to as well. Accept no older, stained, or written on bills.

One can not trust Dutch people, seriously! I'm only assuming you got the fake bills from those Dutch buggers.

actually we got them from dutch money changers

averaged about 3-4 $100 notes /$50,000 or so back in the late 80's

3-4 notes in a total of $50,000? That doesn't sound too bad, but then again, money is money and it obviously also depends on what denomination said notes were
