Does anyone know where we can get one of the Covid vaccines in Cambodia?

Do they test you to see if you have covid, Before they vaccinate you?

What if ur asymptomatic and you than get the vaccine?

guess they weren't ready for all the Barangs
The Ministry of Health today suspended AstraZeneca vaccination in Phnom Penh, Kandal and Preah Sihanouk provinces due to overcrowding after thousands of people had rushed to get inoculated.

Where did it say it was Barangs?
I work with plenty of chinese and local nationals, all of which are less enthusiastic about the Sinopharm option.

Tried to sign up with my wife but there's no Phnom Penh button in the drop down menu. It's unfortunate that the 'competent authorities' weren't put in charge of this initiative.

All foreigners aged 18 and above and who are on mission or business and staying in Cambodia including diplomats, officials of the UN agencies, international organizations, international financing institutions and businesspeople who have real/permanent residence in Cambodia are invited to choose either of the above two vaccines and a vaccination site and get vaccinated on a voluntary basis. "
That's good news. Do you have a link.

From what I read before, there were age constraints as to which vaccine you could get and I am too young to get the Astra Zenica vaccine which I would prefer to get.

But according to your post, the person can choose which vaccine they'd prefer?

The "unofficial translation" thanks the Republic of China for the Sinopharm vac - I'm sure someone won't be happy about that!

Who mentioned competent authorities'. Was it not the health minister?
One more question, because it says who can be vaccinated for free, but it doesn't mention retired people.
And if they withdraw the vaccine because the amount of people arriving. What does that mean! The health department must realising that was a small number in comparison to 17 million to go "twice".
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Some people (foreigners) were lucky enough to get vaccinated yesterday. At Calmette they were given the choice of AZ or Sinopharm. They were also doing Sinopharm at Ang Duong hospital. I stopped by Ang Duong in the afternoon and they were only letting people with a ticket go in. They told me to go back at 6am today. I'm told there was a crowd of about 600 there at this time. I've just been up and they've all gone, with only a short queue of locals. A hand written notice on the gate says "Please go to your own embassy to take application form before you come here".

So what is the upshot here?

They are giving it out on a first come first served basis? What's the embassy got to do with anything, most of them are useless.

Even if you manage to get the first shot, in 4-8 weeks what are the chances of thee being more available for the booster?

I have no desire to go anywhere with crowds of 600 people. The whole world is vaccinating on a descending age basis. This place is vaccinating on a rugby scrum basis.

I've just registered on https://cambodia-vaccine.gov.kh/ (it's all in Khmer so have a Khmer person handy or use Google Lens if you can't read it).

I'm not in a rush, but if the opportunity arose where I thought I could get it (as was the case today) I wouldn't pass it up.

What do the boxes mean? Let's do a translation here and we can all apply.

Click on 5 to register. But on the form there are a number of drop down boxes to select your sex/city/khan/sangkat/etc from lists.
