Dirty Old Sailors

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Odd how this was posted and then the bar was immediately raided... Anyways, not like there aren't a dozen happy pizza places on the riverside alone.

If it reduces the "man-bun":"decent bloke"' ratio, I'm all for it.

Notorious expat Cannabis bar shut down in Phnom Penh

A notorious bar in St172, long known for selling cannabis and cannabis ‘infused’ food, is reported to have been shut down by authorities.

Sources reported a heavy police presence at ‘Dirty Old Sailors’ bar on st172 in central Phnom Penh on Sunday night and, today, the bar is reported to be shuttered, with an official notice affixed to the shutters saying ‘Temporary House-Room Closing by Phnom Penh Municipal Commission | Daun Penh District Police Office Anti-Drug Section – After inspecting the house-room above completely, we commission it temporarily closed.’

I'm surprised they got away with it for so long, I was in there once and the smell was crazy. I remember it got busted a few year ago too.
