@explorer - Yes, but since you were posting as if you are in Australia, you cannot blame the other posters for taking you at your word. "I will stay in Australia"etc.
I don't care where you are either, but the authorities know where you are, if that's what you are worried about. You don't have to tell us about your private life, but some of your posts seem to be deliberately misleading. So therefore, you get some misguided answers.
If I understand right, what you are trying to say in this thread is that you don't appreciate the new entry restrictions to Cambodia. Well, give it time and the Cambodian restrictions will probably lessen. For the moment, they don't affect you, and right now Australia is more difficult to leave and re-enter than Cambodia, and this will likely last longer than the restrictions here. So be happy you are already here.

It is notable that the main reason may expats chose Cambodia for a long term stay was the easy visa and business/work framework which formerly applied.
I fear those days are gone, and those who have no plans for the future should possibly focus on other options.
The climate is sure to further deteriorate for itinerant people with few resources.

a ok with me if you don't cum. I am enjoying the relative peace and quiet that usually only happens a few per year in Siem Reap.

If explorer were posting as if he were in Australia, surely his posts would have said "go to Cambodia" rather than 'come to Cambodia'.Anchor Moy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 4:24 pm@explorer - Yes, but since you were posting as if you are in Australia, you cannot blame the other posters for taking you at your word. It was pretty obvious (to native speakers) that he was already in Cambodia.

If you learned the language you would understand.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

I am waiting for the restrictions to be lifted somewhat so that I can take my annual trip to Cambodia. I was supposed to travel in late march but Singapore Airlines cancelled my flights.
There is a few of us in this forum that travel annual to Cambodia to visit old friends and enjoy the khmer culture.

Yes, it's hard for us non-native kangaroo speakers.Username Taken wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 4:57 pm

I double checked "I will stay in Australia" with Google translate 'English' ,and it said "I will stay in Australia" .(Not, "If I was in Australia, I would stay there".)
Not to mention " If next time I would come to Cambodia, if it is difficult, I will stay in Australia. "
I'm still working on that.
There's always something to learn on CEO.

Whilst this Covid thing is happening l doubt it's gonna be a great move even thinking about returning anywhere until this time next year at least.
Let's face it there will probably be re infections and further lock downs until then at least.
Plus what's the rush to return if you don't have to for example? I love Cambodia but lets be honest, it's not as great as it once was. Plus now it has competition not only from its neighbors but also from other great cheap friendly Countries in our big World.
