Definition of a business and/or "working"?
Hypothetically if I offered up my apartment on Airbnb as a holiday rental, would that be considered running a business? Would I need a business licence? Work permit?
I currently have an EB EOS but no WP.

I honestly think your first question is redundant in the eyes of Immigration - when it suits them, their view is that if you have an EB, you should have a WP.timmydownawell wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2017 3:43 pm Hypothetically if I offered up my apartment on Airbnb as a holiday rental, would that be considered running a business? You and I may try and argue that we're not technically working here (or whatever) but they're truly not interested in that level of detail.
To answer your specific question though - yes, anything in the "sharing movement" is a business, including Uber, AirBNB, etc. Although it's not Cambodia-centric, this by The Guardian is a good read: https://www.theguardian.com/money/2014/ ... s-business

The only reason I have an EB is because when I took my old E one into Lucky Lucky last December that's how it came back.

Yeah someone mentioned EG but I'm not even sure that was an option before. Still feel like this place is cowboy enough no-one's gonna notice or care if I run an Airbnb - except for the whole being white part. That, and I am 100% sure my neighbours would dob me in in an instant, because they are c*nts.
Can I get WP as a sole trader?
Anyone else have experience or suggestions?

What's the difference between the normal EB extension and the EG extension?
Is one a new visa completely (EB) and the other a proper bona fide extension?
What difference does it make?
I just looked at my back visas and eveyone of them, several 1 month, 3 month and 6 month ones have EI printed next to a number in two places.
My last 6 month one from March has the same EI numbers in the same places as the older ones, but now has an additional EB printed on the left of the expiry date.

Fk sake! They're not visas, they're extensions of stay of an E-type visa....why is it so hard for people to understand?
I even posted the link to an English translation of the latest immigration sub-decree on visas on a recent thread for you to read
