Cycle Repair - or new bike...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. If you go to the guys on street 107 just down from the Capitol bus station they are pretty good and inexpensive for repair, not much English spoken though.

As for a new one there are quite a lot of options for that price - for more budget you'll see a lot on and around that street, higher end, Flying Bikes on 51/200 or the giant shops on 294.

I would say he's probably after the guys on St 107 near Orussei Market

Flying Bikes will be much more expensive, something he said he doesn't need

OP: get a Khmer fined to write down what you want done in Khmer and ask for the price BEFOREHAND

Check everything before paying

thanks all I have an idea of spares at reasonable prices in the Khmer Sihanoukville of old a chain was $4 a rear 7 speed freewheel either $4 or $9 brake blocks for both wheels $2.50.... cables $1..tyres $4 inner tubes $2.... I'm sure locals would pay less but at those rates not bothered... guess I might be off to 107 street soon...I seen the advert for the $315 bike not bad anyway thanks again

I bought one it's a great bike I'm going to build a 48v1000w electric bike with it and it meets all the requirements (nice fat tires, dual disc brakes, 135cm rear dropout width,7 speed freewheel, and plenty of room for down tube battery placement)
