Creepy Siem Reap Pass-App Driver Propositions Woman Customer for Sex

Let's keep some perspective. A western woman in Kampot was raped this week by a taxi driver and friends. Now, a woman in Siem Reap has come forward to let other women know that her tuktuk driver wanted to have sex with her. I am 100% with this woman who is getting the message out about staying safe.
I don't get the jokes. What's so funny about being aggressed? Would you want your daughter, wife, girlfriend, women friends to have to deal with randy tuktuk drivers ?

At the same time, it's ridiculous to say that every tuktuk driver is a potential aggressor. Don't get into a tuktuk if the driver seems weird, as in drunk or drugged. Use common sense and stay safe.

Posting online that a tuk tuk driver asked you for sex is like posting online that a tuk tuk driver offered you drugs. Or asked how much your apartment costs. Or that tuk tuk drivers on the corner stared at you. It's not newsworthy.

He asked for sex, she said no. There's nothing in the story about her being "aggressed" if that's a word.

I'm confused by this. This whole narrative assumes this was a sexual advance, but this is never established.

Was the driver actually propositioning her for free sex, or offering services for a fee? Given a language barrier one could easily be mistaken for the other. One might be considered creepy. The other merely entrepeneurial. Especially if she was an older and/or not so attractive woman, she may have simply misunderstood what was being offered.

He likely said something like "You wanna have fucking wit me?" That's a really creepy thing for anyone to say to anyone unless they are already intimate.
