Lol, as long as you wipe them. Perhaps we should spread a rumour that wiped cans are lucky cans, in the interests of health and safety

The percentage of lucky cans will be the same, but some people will see cause and effect, so will wipe their cans systematically. Win-win.

I'm pretty pissed off with my water supply. It only comes on between 11.00 PM and 5.00 AM. The owner stuck in a pump about a year ago but the imbeciles downstairs burned it out in no time as they run a laundry and ran the thing 24/7. They are moving out soon so hopefully it will be better afterwards. It totally sucks.

I'd say you should ALWAYS wipe the top of the can with a clean tissue (or t-shirt if necessary ) before drinking cans out of red boxes. Minimum precaution. I wipe my cans by habit anyway. Even if they are in a fridge now, who knows where they came from.

They came from the back alley where they were stored and numerous dogs pissed on them.....

It could well be that the lack of clean hands has strengthened the average Cambodian's immune system to the point that the virus is unable to make an impact here.

And wiping the can with a tissue is going to eradicate all bacteria? Don't think so. The worst case of food poisoning I had in the KoW was from a can of iced coffee on the way from SR to Kep, I am sure.

As for washing hands, Europeans are not doing too well either:

Now the CDC says instead of washing hands in soap and water, wash in acetone. That definitely kills corona virus. Could be a sales opportunity.
