It happened; RIP AndyKK

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. I try to keep positive! Not easy in a Khmer hospital.
Just a run down in cost - medicine per day $170+ room 3 shearing, I pay $25 per day. Food I am managing a little but difficult, more so because I am having to eat only Khmer food. I have been trying to see the main doctor for over 5 days for some treatment and free medicine, but he says (pass on word) up to him if he wants to give me or not.
Big problem I have now is I have only money to stay in the hospital for 2 days, my money is in the bank but I need tuk tuk wheelchair and oxygen to go withdraw. I can't walk.
Also after 4 years living in my rental room I have been kicked out in 2 weeks because I am sick and have to move my belongings out. So no where to live.
It's been a rough time, I have been kicked out of the last hospital tuk tuk in the road. I have slept on the streets of Phnom Penh for 3 night's because of incompetent tuk tuk or other factors.

Putting the call out !!!

Is there anyone living there and reading this able to help out in any way? Help Andy get to the bank, or move his stuff... whatever you're able to do?

This thread is hard to read and as the title says, it could just happen. Shit can come out of the blue and land on any one of us, most people would hope if they're in a tight spot, or their friend/family member is in a tight spot with nobody to help them a stranger would take some time out of their day to help out, even if only to help you get to a hospital or call a family member for you or whatever.

Please, don't be the stranger who (metaphorically) walks past the old man who fell on the street and can't get up without stopping to help the bloke.

Andy, I sent you a PM.
You know that tingly little feeling you get when you really like someone? That's common sense leaving your body.

My cook will be more than happy to provide some meals next week, just let me know where to deliver.

A BIG HUGE shot out to RTF https://www.rescuetaskforce.org/ based in Cambodia
who is today arranging to, not only purchase, but deliver a Wheelchair to Andy

Now all he needs do is get to the bank
...My cook will be more than happy to provide some meals next week, just let me know where to deliver.
Badly needed, he is eating but only khmer food which is not filling enough.

I'm organising a delivery of brownies, cookies, chocolate bar and lemon cake to him today, he will have that this afternoon.

My cook has added a serve of meatballs and also a pumpkin soup to the hamper.

Then next week we will do some proper meals.
Hope it helps to brighten a shitty day.
