Could it get any worse than this ?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Ha ha ha. Someone whose world has collapsed along with GSM and Walkabou. This man must be a shocker. Hope he doesn’t come back.

Are there enough wankers posting to make it a mass debate?

Hi @zmth, I'm a new member (basically signed up to start a dialog with you) I'm an expat living in Philippines, heading to Cambodia next month. I was hoping to pick your brain about a few things. Any chance of a pm? Thanks!

YEA i guess so . But just got back here to Phnom Penh only 3 days ago. Still a welcome relief to the beggars, touters, lady boys etc in manila, cebu, angeles though must admit Davao was quite a surprise - seemed much less beggars etc. and most surprisingly in all my 2 weeks experience in Davao locals have not yet learned to target foreigners.

the night market at the golden lions is all demolished by the chinese
many other businesses have been bought and took over by the chinese
in SHV most people go to Jack and Daniel bar now next door to big easy, if you want to go check out some whiteys
I can't quite put my finger on it, but there seems to be a statistical trend here...

zmth your OP was pretty much spot on, Sihanoukville is over, and PP had gone so downhill I was spending most nights in my room, no point in going out. Only girlie bars, and Pontoon which I hate.
There's also a whole new area called the containers, I checked from outside a few times but it seemed like a place for khmers
I left in March so didn't see the new Sorya, that's my last hope in terms of PP nightlife. Damn I miss the old days. Old khmer friends who work with barangs complaining the quality of barangs has gone downhill too.
There's one good bar: Oscars on 104. Do let us know what you find.
