Content, or lack thereof

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

thai visa is popular for 3 reasons;

1 there is very good info and u can always get a response

2. with so many posters u will always find a thread to enjoy an discuss

3. It is populated by westerners that live in their wife's/gf home town ( mostly Essan) an have nothing else to do to relieve their miserable lives but complain and make comments on things they know nothing about. ( look at how many posts some have over a brief period).

Off topic but how many here live in their wives/gf's home town and have built them homes on family land?

Re: off topic. yes I bought 2 hectares of land from my mother-in-law in small village in Kampong Cham Province and have lived there 11 years with my wife and two children every since. Our home is approx. 1 kilometer from mom's home.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

Put me down as another country bumpkin. After two years in Phnom Penh moved into the house I had built in my wife's village. Been there over five years now. The mother in law actually lives with us. :hattip:

On another note, it is good to have more than one forum in Cambodia as a monopoly is not healthy.
In fairness, the new owner is a prick too.

Well, yeah, but don't tell him that as apparently he's mates with the landlords around here, too.

You mean Sco beans ? Yes he is certainly a prick.

But KIR was effortless at being a prick. Almost an accidental prick.

Sco beans works very hard to live up to his prick image. Almost too much
effort at being a prick. Maybe he is covering for some personal lacking.
