Oh, OK, I am talking about the Visa and Work Permit FB page, which you are involved in, I believe. I read some people say on there that they were denied boarding by the airline because they didn't have a PCR test. Despite Cambodia changing its policy. That was 6 days ago but it's not exactly the kind of thing you want to take a chance on.
Are you sure about the VOA or is it just safer to go with e-visa? Have never done e-visa so VOA would be much easier.
By the way, the images you attached to this message didn't come through, but I guess the same ones are at the top of the latest Visa & Work Permit Page post.

Re: Considering stopover in Cambodia. Possible?
Am still trying to decide whether to go with e-visa or VOA. VOA is much easier of course but I don't want to have stress at the airport.Flexxman wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 1:23 pm Arrived last week on e-visa - it was a breeze. Some notes:
- Applied around two weeks before. It took 5 working days to get issued.
- I know of someone more optimistic doing it just 3 days prior only not to receive it timely.
- When uploading picture of passport it got scanned and all details including photo filled in to check/correct. All was already fine.
- On arrival health declaration form, then straight to the immigration desk, handover passport and e-visa print, off I went into Cambodia.
- Requirement having two print-outs - not sure why (maybe for departure purposes, did not have to leave one copy).
Immigration did need a Cambodian phone number/address of stay. Which I put in the e-visa application so thought they'd had that already. Same with the health declaration form but there I just jotted down a made up number but they did not seem to care much about that.
Transit in Bangkok was easy as an attendant brought me to the gate passing all checks with priorirty. Long lines (distanced chairs set up!) for those going into Thailand. When boarding the flight to PNH showing covid insurance/coverage appeared important. As the requirement was recently scrapped I did initially not produce that copy and they made quite a fuss about checking it while it should no longer be necessary.
See link to Forteinsurance on the pic PSD-Kiwi pasted in you can buy online last-minute if needed. Search aseannow.com for a similar Thai insurer/service.
I'm not flying through Bangkok so hopefully the Forte insurance thing will not come up.
Re: Considering stopover in Cambodia. Possible?
Forte C19 Insurance not required for Cambodia since November, and their COVID-19 specific policy is no good for transit in Thailand as it only covers the policy holder in Cambodia.

Yea that was right after the changes, these changes always take time to filter down to where the info is needed, but no issues reported in more recent days, airlines seem to be up-to-date with the changes.daeum_tnaot wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 1:33 pm Oh, OK, I am talking about the Visa and Work Permit FB page, which you are involved in, I believe. 100% sure reference VOA - several first hand reports confirming no issues. e-Visa is a Tourist Visa and can only be extended once for a further 30 days, best to get an E-type (Ordinary) Visa on arrival if you're planning on staying longer than 2 months.

Re: Considering stopover in Cambodia. Possible?
I had neither as not necessary. Transit ports apply the rules of the destination. But I already had printed the covid coverage statement of my health insurer so had that copy with me anyway. I was surprised they insisted on viewing it - and relieved not having to discuss the situation at the gate. Three people were late boarding and entered the aircraft cursing and complaining so might have had such an experience.

OK, thanks! I'm glad things are pretty much back to normal. I'll just go with VOA then as that will be much easier.PSD-Kiwi wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 2:49 pmYea that was right after the changes, these changes always take time to filter down to where the info is needed, but no issues reported in more recent days, airlines seem to be up-to-date with the changes.daeum_tnaot wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 1:33 pm Oh, OK, I am talking about the Visa and Work Permit FB page, which you are involved in, I believe.
