When I'm at home my home in PP or the province, I pretty much wear nothing but a krama (around my waist), unless I have guests. When I see people wearing a Krama around the neck like a scarf it reminds me of all the hipsters in the "Western world" who wear shemaghs as a fashion accessory. Shemagh around the neck/face to protect from sand and the elements when in Afghan or Iraq, that is acceptable.
