A Close Call

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

i have an answer for almost everything due to chronic anxiety
ppl to be wary of in KOW:
nigerians
ghanaians
kenyans
filipinos
girls named Sreymom, Ana, Ada, Neang, Sreyleak. there are some others but these are tops.

And if KIR's double showed up ?????
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.

how likely is it that a rising academic slipped when getting out of bed and died.
at a young age, with a shiny new degree.
it would be easy to kill an anon handle, and make it appear as if the natural person had died.
that sock ridden place had lots of intrigue given bubble t and the pirate bay involvement.
you can take my opinions as my own, not as fact- just my personal speculation.

Who else knew your whereabouts.....? Maybe it was some Filipino friends chasing you down to say you were about to miss a round of blackjack... :stir:
No cars involved, General, and it was actually pretty scary and I don't scare easily. The phone was a heat of the moment thing- seemed like the only thing to do. What would YOU have done?
So, the Uber wasn't a car? What was your Uber vehicle?
One of those little tuk-tuk thingies you call to pick you up. I thought Uber used tuk-tuks here as well as cars. If not then my bad.
Uber only uses vehicles. When you use the app it tells what kind of vehicle it is too.

Specific much?
I contend, your honour, that he was in fact alone, in a drunken state, riding a bicycle and looking in the mirror as he passed a pinoy restaurant...... prove me wrong!

You're so full of shit. I already corrected myself and who would lie about something like that? If you have a beef with me then fine, but do us all a favor and stop replying to my posts because you're a 1 trick pony and your act is getting old.

I'm not saying that those moto guys weren't going to rob you but I find it unlikely. Even more unlikely that the passapp driver would have been involved, sometimes when they map out the trip it will go through some "sketchy" areas, but really, I've been to much scarier places in Canada than anything I've seen in Phnom Penh and much later than 9pm.

Nope, these guys definitely were up to something but you either believe me or you don't. Scarier places in Canada? What happened, did you get attacked by an elk when you were out in the boonies?
