Choosing a thread title / saving members time?
Choosing a thread title / saving members time?
It's always been a bugbear of mine over many forums. People who post cryptic titles to get views, rather that post WTF a thread is about. Please, give us a clue, so we don't our waste time. CEO is taking a while to load just now. Please don't waste your fellow members time. I'd guess, 95% of people do post relevant titles, just a tiny minority don't.

Maybe titles only - no body. Make CEO like Twitter w/a lot less characters

Agreed, a good/accurate title is very helpful. However, we don't have any rules about formatting them.

LoL. There's Twitter apps that give you hash tag suggestions after you write your tweet.General Chatter wrote:shit what a funking time waste ....I thought this was a thread about a new app that suggested titles after it analyses the content of a word file and comes up with a title....Mods it may be time to make a new rule....

Or you could think for yourself ? What is the subject of the post? If you don't know/aren't sure, then maybe you should read your post again...General Mackevili wrote:LoL.
