In this report straight from the heart of Phnom Penh nightlife, the residents and passersby were treated to some genuine street theater last night on Street 132: A stunning ladyboy had a shouty fight with a half-dressed Chinese man with tattoos.
Each side gave their personal version of events to the local journalist who was on hand. But which one do you believe ?


Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): According to the first report, a Chinese man and a lover of the same sex dressed as a woman went to a guesthouse, then the Chinese man chased the car and also quarreled all over the street because his lover left with an extra $200 on the night of June 19, 2023,along Street 132 in Srah Chak commune, Daun Penh district.


According to sources at the scene, before the incident, they saw the transgender lady walk out of a guesthouse near the scene and got into a taxi, but then a Chinese man ran out of the guesthouse half-dressed and chased after the taxi, and a loud argument broke out in the street between the same sex lovers. So then everyone was very surprised at this scene, and many people stopped to watch the Chinese man and his lover and some people took photos, but nobody could work out what was the problem between them.


According to the Chinese man's version of the events that night, before the incident, he called the same sex lover to come to the guesthouse to have sex with him for $100. After sleeping together, he withdrew $100 from his pocket to give to the same-sex lover, and he put back $200 in his trouser pocket and went into the shower. When he got back, the ladyboy was gone, and the $200 had also vanished from his pocket. The Chinese man then ran out of the guesthouse to stop the ladyboy from leaving with his money, and there was this big argument in the street.



However, the ladyboy described the events differently, saying that she did not steal money from the Chinese man as alleged. She said that prior to the incident, the Chinese man called her and offered her $100 for sex. She agreed and went to sleep with the man, but during the sleeping together, the man did not succeed in the act, and he asked his lover to wait a bit. Meanwhile she asked him for the $100 and she left while he was in the bathroom. But the man ran into the street, shouting after the transgender lover to give him back the money because he didn't get what he had paid for. She flatly refused, and that was why they had the shouting match on Street 132.

Finally, in the end, the same sex lover gave the Chinese man $100 to settle the argument, and they parted ways.


So, which version of events do you believe ? Either way, it looks like the ladyboy came out ahead.
