Cheering news amid the gloom and despair

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Cheering news amid the gloom and despair

Post by mammothboy2 »

The Kabyle woman who heads the meaningless National Union of Students in UK has told startled listeners that the
British government's funding cuts have left young "British" Muslims* with no real choice but to join the ranks of ISIS
and do their best to earn martyrs' crowns.

Well done, Gove and Cameron!

* It is more accurate to use the term "holders of British passports"

The murderer of Jo Cox deserves to be put to death slowly and horribly in public.

Sadly, the British haven't enjoyed a public execution in generations.

What a coincidence! You wax nostalgic over a strong Muslim custom.

As might have been anticipated, the Great Brains of the British commentariat are determined to blame the organisation called
Britain First without even bothering to check the Britain First website:

https://www.britainfirst.org/

(These are the same British journalists who were too idle to read Obama's book and check out the litany of lies and half-truths in its pages,
particulary the yarn about Obama's paternal grandfather, a Luo, being "imprisoned and tortured" by the fiendish British colonialists during
the Kikuyu rebellion.}

The French used to chop heads off until the 1960s I think. There are guillotines in Vietnamese museums, many patriots lost their heads. And the Belgian colonialists used to chop off hands and feet in the Congo.

Unrepresentative elitist swine struck down by rightfully angry constituents? It's the right topic for it!

Looks to me like Islamists target the everyday people, right wing fanatics target the true source of the problem. :thumb:

You would have fit in well with Adolph's crew Image

"The Nazi propaganda depicted Weimar as "a morass of corruption, degeneracy, national humiliation, ruthless persecution of the honest 'national opposition'—fourteen years of rule by Jews, Marxists, and 'cultural Bolsheviks', who had at last been swept away by the National Socialist movement under Adolf Hitler and the victory of the 'national revolution' of 1933"
