So, who or which article to believe? Stay tuned sports fans, there's more confusing shit to hit the media fan.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

Maybe we should change the thread title to "How to get an EG visa"?

I've also only seen EG referenced with 1, 3, and 6 month extension options. A 12 month extension would do nicely.PSD-Kiwi wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 3:53 pmAs per the latest visa sub-decree, the EG EOS is available for 1,3,6,12 mth extension of stays.bangkokhooker wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 2:32 pmI saw a link to a news story at it implies that you can only get a max six month EG.PSD-Kiwi wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 2:11 pm No supporting documentation required for EG. After 12 mth EG EOS you need to apply for the EOS relevant to your situation ie. EB,ER... or leave the country. Will you be able to get another EG EOS? The sub-decree is not clear on this, as with everything else.
Would you be so kind as to link to or attach this latest visa sub-decree so that I may bandy it about, under the agents nose whilst attempting to cajole her into procuring such EOS on my behalf?

^^ Here's a link to the "Sub-decree on visa types". This does not include any recent changes. https://lookaside.fbsbx.com/file/Sub-de ... fJyy2q1Jmg
If you want to bandy it about under the agent's nose, you might be better off trying to find a copy in Khmer.

So the EG visa is a one time only and cannot be extended, unlike the EB and ER, which can be extended for 12 months (EB) 24 months (ER)s then three time thereafter for 12 months at which the old gt must leave the country, and I assume come back!

It says "EG Visa Type can be extended for one (1) month, three (3) months, six (6) months, or twelve (12) months for one time only". Which implies you can go up to two years on one. But I'm not convinced that is what is really meant.bangkokhooker wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2017 2:01 pm"Done in Phnom Penh, 20 June 2016"Username Taken wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2017 1:25 pm ^^ Here's a link to the "Sub-decree on visa types". From the pdf linked above:
"EG visa type can be extended for one (1) month, three (3) months, six (6) months, or twelve (12) months for one time only"
Keep in mind, that document is probably out of date. However, it is the most recent one that has been released and translated into English.
