Business owners- How effective is tuk tuk advertising? I surely haven't read a damn 1 of them since I been in country. Not exactly prime opportunity to read them while I am driving my moto in Phnom Penh. When I am walking around, I certainly am now reading the back of tuk tuks. There was one that had a flat screen TV on the back. Now that I stopped at looked at.

Just wondering how effective they are- Marketing background here, just curious is all.

Also- That banner/board came out looking great. From a graphical communications POV, I love the color scheme and the font style. Good Job GONK.
I'll give ya 500 Riel for it...

Ok, the misspelling was my bad. I was busy being frustrated trying to get the angkor wat in our logo to look not shitty at those sizes and forgot to spellcheck everything.

Upside, we'll have English teachers and other anal retentives signing up just to tell us about it.

And while we don't look dead on alike, we do look enough alike that in certain pictures in certain lighting even i've been confused as to which of us it was. And my hair only looks like that when I haven't cut it for a few months.

They are probably more effective on people who use tuktuks - when yours gets lost in the herd the ad board is a reasonable way to find it again if your driver is not already prancing for your attention.

I read them all the time, usually when in transit on one... something to pass the time as I cruise by buildings i've seen a dozen times already.

I drive a car, and the tuk-tuk's advertising often catches my attention. Sometimes I would even lightly speed up to catch up with a tuk-tuk at a red light to have a better look at the ads.
As a car driver though, best tuk-tuk advertising designs are the ones with a great picture, big letters, the logo of the company big and visible and as few words as possible.

It won't necessarily entice me to go to the places but it would make me familiar with the logo and brand and next time I see it around (in magazines, on Internet, or just driving by) I will recognize it, and maybe try it.

And I still believe a front page would do you a lot of good.

You could open with an article on how to find accommodation, LOL.

I think some of the previous comments, were, IMHO, getting a little too personal. I have some good and dear friends who are turtles!
