CEO rules, playing nice and karma

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I quite like the idea of a like/dislike button. There are some posts where I want to support a particular idea or expression and others what I want to share that the particular post is not cool. I just wish you could do karma on tapatalk.

Given that karma doesn't work from tapatalk it's far too much effort for me to use.

I disagree. Obviously trolls would prefer that, and you will come off poorly for your personal attacks, but I think neg karma should stay at 5 or even more. That way, people like yourself may become civil.

+50 more. In fact, I think it's time to slice those off into their own thread.

Thanks for making me work guys....

I am not sure if anyone has already pointed this out, but the whole karma thing, as is the universe itself, is completely, totally and utterly imaginary.

To my knowledge you, as a personality and body, and I, as a personality and body, are both illusions within my dream—but it seems reasonable to me that you should see me the same way, and that you should consider your experience to be your dream. There is no contradiction in this for me, since I do not consider the context to be spatial—so please consider me to be one of your dream beings if you wish…and please notice that I am the personality in your dream who is telling you the truth about the overall situation.

IF (theoretical post) If people held hands in a large circle that stretched right around the equator, a sizeable number would drown.

I've been off line/limited access for a just under a week while traveling for a family wedding, and am now catching up on my reading. But it strikes me that a lot of posters are either stamping their feet trying to prove their point like grumpy toddlers or generally shitty at everyone no matter what thread they're in. The level of unhappy on this forum is exceptionally high at the moment. I've really enjoyed this forum so please can we all take a chill pill?

The karma thing should be modded, so a poster suggests it and then admin judge whether it is OK. So simple.
