Definitely have more members starting interesting topics and sharing their thoughts on others! I know there are a few people who have been very loud about not liking how we have been serious about getting rid of the needless trash talking, etc, but I think it's fair to say that a lot more members are thankful we have started doing more to improve the overall atmosphere on the forum by taking out the trash. Some have left, some have adapted, and a lot of new and returning members who appreciate the changes have started being more active. Another big thanks to those who have had the ability to adapt and have really knocked off the pointless nastiness and attacks we have been working hard on eliminating. I love to hear opposing views but I don't think I'm alone in saying I have no desire to see a bunch of pointless bickering on those discussions. So thanks to those who have knocked it off!

Oh, and thanks to MANY of you in the community who have taken the time to use the 'report' function to help us more quickly get to posts that are just trolling the community for a reaction or attacking fellow members in a clear attempt to just piss them off. That's greatly improved our ability to take care of issues before they spiral out of control, or even start in some cases.

If some individuals are refraining from posting things they think will get edited/deleted, then I'd say it's a good sign that the Mod Team is doing our job, and saving our contributing members time that they could be spending having to report crap.

It doesn't take a huge amount of common sense to know if you're adding to a discussion or trying to shut it down/derail it.

I, for one, have zero beef with you AW (I don't even know you), and at times I find the things you have to contribute both pertinent and prescient. And then you pull a dick move. I'd rather engage you (and others) in healthy debate and discussion. I had a little wobble early in my posting days with JB (and I hope we've both moved past that now), but aside from that, I try to adhere to the principle of what would be considered acceptable banter and discussion in a bar. If something I said there were to lead to a punch in the face, then it is likely the same rules apply here.

I much prefer reading what you have to say, than reading [Admin Edit:...]

DISCUSSION, this is the important word, mod, whom wont be named, does not seem to understand sometimes threads go off topic a bit, but there is still meaningful discussion or some good info being posted, it usually comes back on topic or dies.
We are adults, do we need someone to "clean" up our posts?
Yea no hating /attacking each other with words but
Less modding....more discussion.

I find it somewhat humorous that when poster "A" posts about another is acceptable, but if poster "B" repeats the posts in quotations it is considered offensive. Personally I feel if you are man enough to punch, you should be man enough to take the counter punch. But the truth is I would prefer to discuss intelligently rather than bicker.
