In case you're departing via Phnom Penh international airstrip

Been that way for ages, as mentioned it isn't usually an issue if one (non-flying) person is accompanying their partner in, but the gatekeepers can be a little over zealous sometimes.

Thank fk they don't let all non-travelling people enter...imagine the crowds.

The tribe doesn’t come out to Phnom Penh airport. Only in temple town. And I only go to temple town when necessary.

FYI. If you’re flying in to Phnom Penh and need someplace to wait for your ride, go to the Burger King. They have both aircon and WiFi. Found out that VOIP phone service doesn’t work without an internet connection and that the KOW can get pretty hot just waiting around.

I think that's only a problem when your flight is late, delayed, or held back.

So the new one has opened now? Because the old one was closed and had been for a couple of months I was told and the new one not yet opened (none of the new eateries were) when I flew back in 10 days ago. Only had The Ice cream place and the yuppie cafe outside the entrance and the new place up near the train station.

Don't think so, not quite yet. Hagar has the Khmer food court open in front of the main doors though, good food, very good prices.

I've never had such flaky service or consistency in my life. Unfortunately, I eat it every day at work, unless I pack a lunch.

It's fine that they don't let non travelers in. Just look on the parking outside, they're literally camping ! And I'm sure they'd gladly camp under the A/C.
