Sihanoukville, Cambodia: After an Englishman had previously been violently robbed in the bathroom, now 2 Canadian tourists have been beat up, one being hospitalized.

LOL, I can hear the tales when they get back home already.

Viciously assaulted by Khmer Rouge in the depths of Cambodia, I survived only because I use Head and Shoulders.

Is the article suggesting some sort of regular thing. Beating and robbing people in a bathroom. Previously a Brit, now 2 Canadians.

Could be a place to avoid.

It's as "backpacker" as you can get, so I would guess that kind of crap happens a lot.

Does it say whether they were beaten by locals or other foreigners? Probably just a regular ol' bar fight between pissed up backpackers.
