Re: Cambodian Coca-Cola meets Mr Science
it's one thing to make those choices for yourself. it's a completely different thing to constantly judge the fuck out of and badmouth anyone who chooses different than you. you're not at all libertarian... you're totalitarian. if someone doesn't hold the exact same value structure as you, you're incapable of respecting that. you have to try and force your value structure down their throat harder than a priest breaking in an alter boy.

Now now...you're treading on Stroppy's territory there...OrangeDragon wrote:it's one thing to make those choices for yourself. it's a completely different thing to constantly judge the fuck out of and badmouth anyone who chooses different than you. you're not at all libertarian... you're totalitarian. if someone doesn't hold the exact same value structure as you, you're incapable of respecting that. you have to try and force your value structure down their throat harder than a priest breaking in an alter boy.
I am merely observing and recommending...force is completely absent in my eloquently expressed opinions...fools are free to consume several cans of coke a day or...copious amounts of alcohol every week...but...fools they remain to be...
aint just me opinion...there is a chorus of evidence supporting them there claims...fools are fools - so be it...

It had to be a mistake or they're having trouble selling Diet. Aspertame is way more expensive than sugar. I'm wondering, what does Coca Cola taste like w/out rum in it anyway ?

and there he goes proving your point.
Re: Cambodian Coca-Cola meets Mr Science
But far less aspertame than sugar is used in making a can of drink since it is so much sweeter...not that I know the comparative cost of a making a can of regular Coke v Diet Coke.wackyjacky wrote:It had to be a mistake or they're having trouble selling Diet. I don't know if you're buying a 40 gallon drum of the shit, but in my coffee, it's easily 10 Xs the cost to get an Equal amount of sweetness.
Re: Cambodian Coca-Cola meets Mr Science
The Coca-Cola manufacture here is no doubt buying it by the drum. A 355ml can of regular Coke contains approximately 39g of sugar. A 355ml can of diet Coke contains approximately 0.3g of aspartame.wackyjacky wrote:I don't know if you're buying a 40 gallon drum of the shit, but in my coffee, it's easily 10 Xs the cost to get an Equal amount of sweetness.

39g of sugar in a can of coke. Seriously? I can picture that amount in a heap - scary.
I occasionally let my son have a Fanta, but some of his friends quaff it all the time. I guess he does when he's out of sight too, though he claims not.
How much is in a can of beer, as a matter of interest?

Probably more like 33g-36g in a local 330ml can of regular Coke.Tim Linkinwater wrote:39g of sugar in a can of coke. Seriously? I can picture that amount in a heap - scary.
Still a lot of sugar.
