Cambodian Auctions in Phnom Penh

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. 'Your items can be insured.'

Yeah, right.

This is obviously a respectable operation.

This is from a friend of mine who is a straight up honest guy with lots of experience in auctions in NZ>

He has just completed a purpose built auction venue, and if you have stuff to sell or want to buy at bargain prices, you may give it a try with no fear.

Sounds like a good idea. I've always loved auctions. You never know what treasures you'll find.

Is your friend involved in Valhalla?

"Camboautions.com" is being advertised. It is not a registered domain. However, camboauctions.com is registered by a "CamFirst Technologies".

Buying a .com domain from these guys http://www.camfirst.com.kh and then spelling it wrong on the flyer. Now how's that for above board and professional? Oh, Frank, who are you kidding :-) Legally, they don't even own their own domain name. I predict that their website will be a complete disaster. Next time, get your domain from GoDaddy or something. It's $9 for a year and it doesn't rip you off like CamFirst surely will down the line.

Frank, you piss and moan over half the board yourself. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's not new that people throw opinions at things and you know it.

Nobody accused you of being involved. Relax. I think we have mutual friends though and this is below the quality I expected, s'all.
