'Your items can be insured.'
Yeah, right.
This is obviously a respectable operation.

Re: Cambodian Auctions in Phnom Penh
This is from a friend of mine who is a straight up honest guy with lots of experience in auctions in NZ>
He has just completed a purpose built auction venue, and if you have stuff to sell or want to buy at bargain prices, you may give it a try with no fear.

What frank said. The auctions haven't started yet.
Re: Cambodian Auctions in Phnom Penh
Sounds like a good idea. I've always loved auctions. You never know what treasures you'll find.
Re: Cambodian Auctions in Phnom Penh
Yeah, good idea and would visit this on a Saturday for a look see.
Maybees need to correct the flyer website & email address for next auction.

from the owner:
I can't log in there...... but feel free to tell them on my behalf that the building work will be finished in two weeks and photos of lots will start to appear on our Cambodian auctions FB page ...first auction is 8th August......my partner worked for sothebey's so I think it will all be above board and professional. ...we get our delivery truck on Wednesday so everything is on track.

"Camboautions.com" is being advertised. It is not a registered domain. However, camboauctions.com is registered by a "CamFirst Technologies".
Buying a .com domain from these guys http://www.camfirst.com.kh and then spelling it wrong on the flyer. Now how's that for above board and professional? Oh, Frank, who are you kidding Legally, they don't even own their own domain name. I predict that their website will be a complete disaster. Next time, get your domain from GoDaddy or something. It's $9 for a year and it doesn't rip you off like CamFirst surely will down the line.

i have no involvement in it whatsoever other than to provide a character ref for my friend.

Frank, you piss and moan over half the board yourself. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's not new that people throw opinions at things and you know it.frank lee bent wrote:sure is a lot of pissing and moaning about an ad pulled off the net.

Nobody accused you of being involved. Relax. I think we have mutual friends though and this is below the quality I expected, s'all.
