Cambodia No. 1 Tourist Destination during COVID-19, According to Senegal Office
With no tourist visas being issued currently, and therefore no tourist arrivals, Cambodia is mentioned as one of the safest countries for tourists to visit, according to the Senegalese Economic Prospective Bureau.
[The logic is difficult to follow, but it is what it is.]

Amusing press release from the government explaining how they take credit for "controlling" the virus in Cambodia. In fact its just a natural phenomenon as described in the study from the University of Grenoble. The three factors are climate, age of population, and general health of the population - all of which are in Cambodia's favour. As described in the study government measures are irrelevant to the outcome of the virus - the same is true in every country. Wait for more governments taking credit for their "success" in controlling the virus.

I wait with baited breath for such releases from the UK and a few other popular European non-destinations.
As for this article...was someone sniggering while writing all this?
Cambodia: look it’s so safe. Please come- we won’t let you.

A recent study from India indicates that one of the leading factors for low Covid cases in certain developing countries is poor hygiene. People in countries with poor hygiene, especially surrounding food, have built up much stronger immune systems with a much better ability to fight off viruses and bacteria than those in more sterile environments, such as developed countries.samrong01 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 10:38 am Amusing press release from the government explaining how they take credit for "controlling" the virus in Cambodia. Obviosly there are other factors involved, as you said, but when you put all of the requirements together to achieve a low infection rate, such as low ages of population, hot climate, good overall health and poor hygiene, Cambodia seems to meet all of them.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never allow the dumb ones to lead the pack.

Given the Chinese propensity for cooking with oil scavenged from the drains and filtered for garbage, and other delightful social habits, I wonder how the immune system is, there? But then. They could kill off a million of their own, and it probably wouldn’t register.
