Cambodia car and bike guide in the works

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Cambodia car and bike guide in the works

Post by AE86 »

Hey everyone here,

I'm in the process of writing reviews for vehicles (some can be seen on K440) and also compiling information and FAQs regarding motor vehicles in Cambodia. I've written many articles in the past (some posted, some not) with original intentions of creating some sort of book in the end. However I realized that now, not only do I hate technology and dealing with managing sales/business online, but I also don't favor the inability to update a book as easily as some online source. In the end, I'm just happy if there is a guide to motoring in Cambodia where financial interests are not the driving force of it's intentions, so I decided to "publish" all the information I have written on a forum where people can access it easily and free.

There will then be two "definitive" threads to index all the articles. Anyone who wants to ask any questions or contribute, feel free. I would have been posting here but there's no real section for it to go to.

Mods/Admins, if you want to create a sticky/master thread or a cars/bikes section I have no problems with you guys posting the reviews/threads from K440 over here as well. Up to you, the information is free, do with it as you please.

Any questions, comments, etc. if you want to reach me ([email protected])

Cheers
