BugZone: Nothing's perfect...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Mmm, a work in progress. In the meantime, I believe we are actively seeking a new, new IT guru.

Just to echo what UT said, we're getting someone to add all the mods back.

Site is 'out of the box' right now, but we want more. I personally think the IT person had us offline more than needed, but oh well, it happens. The good news is that the forum software is 100% upgraded, just need to add some things back, including Karma, Taptalk, etc.

It's been and will continue to be a busy week for me in the real world, but getting someone on it.

Seems the insane fucking sluggishness is gone, but still a delay when posting, which will get sorted too.

Haven't seen any Cloudflare errors yet either, but definitely report them if you see them again since the upgrade!!

I gotta sleep, have fucking training both days this weekend here in the desert. grrrrrr

Is it possible to warn members about the pending outages?

Last night I was nearly finished making a post with 5 photos attached when the outage happened. Really frustrating and I won't bother doing it again.

Just askin.

There's notices on here, Facebook, K440, and Twitter that say we're still in the middle of doing IT work on the site....

How much more of a "heads up" do you need to realize that maybe it would have been a good idea at this point in time to have cut & pasted your post with a whopping 5 pictures in it, just to be safe?

Come on now.

I'm still outraged Richard hasn't got the colour he wanted!

I'm taking this further!

I heard scoffer only handles jobs that are out of plastic bags.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Yeah, how silly of me. I use many other sites unrelated to Cambodia and they almost always put up a courtesy banner warning of impending outages.

I guess they'll catch on to your more advanced model in due course.
