BugZone: Nothing's perfect...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I have another annoyance, which predates the latest update. This one seems to be limited to mobile (Google Chrome / Android)

The small "take me to the top" button covers some of the text for users without a signature. It's pretty pointless, as there's a bigger button following me when scrolling the page.

When clicking on the threads under recent topics on the front page, I am no longer sent to the last post. This might be intentional, but when clicking on the red unread post icon next to the links, I get an error
Seems to be working now. You want to give it a try?

Yup, working! Nice work.

But.... As I upvoted you, I noticed yet another change. Upvoting now takes me to a brand new page. Is this a bug, or intentional?
Before it would just load the information on top of the thread.

Now when you give Karma points instead of a little onscreen pop up window you get taken to a whole new page, give karma, then have to click again on a link to return to topic

Thanks for the detailed description of the bug. We are already starting to tweak it further. I think our dev found a fix already, but might take a bit more time to get the full functionality we want from it. Getting there!

Haha, you bastard! That was only for a couple minutes while they tried changing a few settings to sort out the above issues...

Nothing is unhackible, but we have HTTPS/SSL and these recent updates included even more security, or improved security.

Let's just not piss off any Russians and we should be fine.

And thanks for reporting that.

That I noticed too. Hopefully that's as simple as spacing the elements on the page a bit neater. We will bring that up with the dev after he gets through round 2 today/tomorrow. Thanks again.

Yeah, noticed that earlier too.

It seems to be "working" fine, but definitely a totally different procedure now. It also nicely takes you back to the same position you were at BEFORE you left the KARMA, which is good.

That said, which process do you prefer between the two? It could be as simple as a setting, or it might just be the way CEO's latest software handles it, we don't know for sure yet.

Thanks again! These things are VERY helpful, as we typically need specifics when we look into things like bugs.
