BugZone: Nothing's perfect...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I vaguely remember that, perhaps if you had more kids I would remember better, LOL

Two things. Can I get rid of that panel that recently appeared at the top? The one telling me the newest posts, most active users and newest users - none of which I give a solitary flying fuck about - but takes up about 3/4 of the screen doing so?
Newest posts I can just about understand but since they are at the top of every sub-forum anyway, it is still a waste of screen space. But top users and newest users? Really? Stick it at the bottom of the page. :please:

Also, embedding Youtube. Has something gone awry with that in the past few days? I got one embedded fine last week, I'm sure, but yesterday or the day before, I forget, it would only take the url link no matter what method or permutation I tried.

The third version looks like it has worked but a) that's not the format the link instructions say it should be entered in and b) that method and format did not work for the video I tried to link the other day.

EDIT. To clarify, what I had to enter within the Youtube brackets was hXKxATITqH4 only, not v=hXKxATITqH4 as it seems to suggest by the post.

Might go offline for a hour in a bit while we do some updates on CEO. :assassin:

Woooooohoooooooo!!!!!! Updates complete!!

Now you can simply post a link on CEO from YouTube or from a Facebook video and it will automatically be embedded without you having to do anything else. It should also work with other links from sites with videos, but we only tested it so far with Youtube and Facebook.

CEO also has a bit of a new look. You may notice other small changes, such as newer looking icons, etc, but the main improvement we made was just making it easier/simpler to post videos here.

And as ALWAYS, please let us know if you notice any issues with any of the new improvements we made. You never know when something looks fine in 99% of most browsers and then stretches to some funky shape when on another, so we all need to be on the lookout for anything that might need further tweaking.

:plus1: Got weird shit all over the place, including this page. Will post screen print images. PS, I'm on Firefox.

Everything to the left of "Normal" with the drop down arrow isn't showing correctly. See image below

Image

The "Subscribe topic" etc is defaulting as visible.

Image

If I click the down arrow it goes but it turn red, thus, and comes back if I click anywhere on the page.

Image

And the bottom of the page looks like this.
