Shit. We will have to fix that. :stir:

Ok, made some progress behind the scenes while most of you slept!

Including, as requested by the masses, an updated and greatly improved IMAGE UPLOADER!

Give it a try. It's based off IMGUR, which many people are familiar with already, so start using it as let us know if it's working well or not.

It's just a small imgur icon at the top of your post field, you just click on it, choose the image you want to upload from your computer, double click and Bob's your uncle.

Ok, it's 5:40 am and I need some fucking beauty rest before a Sihanoukville get-together tomorrow!

Just so everyone is aware, we have some IT work going on behind the scenes at the moment, and while we don't EXPECT much, if any, downtime, just be aware that there is always the possibility that any work being done behind the scenes can cause something or another to have temporary issues. And if you notice anything acting up, always feel free to report it (or even start a new topic about it if you must, LoL).

That's all. Again, no reason to think anything funky will happen while they work, but anything is possible in this crazy ass digital world. :assasin:
I liked that narrower panel thing you briefly tried the other night.

As long as the image uploader is working; that's what's important. :)

Haha, just testing things out. I kind of liked it too, but thought text SIZE was a bit small. Thank God Richard didn't see it for that 2-min time span. ;)

More IT work being done behind the scenes of CEO this evening, so don't be too surprised if we happen to have some downtime, although it SHOULD be small, if any.

OK, looks like we're making progress!

CEO is finally updating our entire site's security in a BIG way! Switching EVERYTHING over to HTTPS! Within about 24 hours you should see a GREEN PADLOCK in the address bar of all of CEO's pages, letting you know your connection is safe and encrypted!!

It means EVERYTHING you send and receive on CEO is encrypted, meaning no nobody can steal your passwords/email/username over Wi-Fi, etc.

While it's still VERY common for other sites to have the old http without encryption, we decided we wanted to go ahead and get CEO upgraded to HTTPS now.

This may require you to login again, and some people will have to upload their avatar again, but the security benefit is huge.

Here is a good summary of the difference between HTTPS and http:

https://www.instantssl.com/ssl-certific ... https.html

More info to follow, but just know that it's a huge security/privacy update to CEO, and while some old images on the site might not show up if they aren't "secure," it's a big step forward for our site.

Also, our new ImgUr image uploader is HTTPS, so that will continue to work fine, but images uploaded through the old TinyPic will not show up, I'm afraid.

I gotta sleep....
